The Marlay Care Team has many years of nursing experience in various clinical settings. We are specialists in care of older people in long term care, dementia care, orthopaedics and old age psychiatry.
We are affiliated with both UCD and Trinity Universities for nurse training and we have a visiting Professor in Old age Psychiatry.
Our high 'staff to resident' ratio guarantees that a continuum of care is provided in a homely, safe and secure environment where each resident gets the most out of living at The Marlay.
Residents are attended to by their GP as well as our House Medical Officer who carries out a twice weekly clinic. The Doctor on-Call service attends to our residents out of hours.
The Marlay also offers physiotherapy, speech and language therapy plus a range of complementary therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy and reminiscence therapy.
